Regular Meeting minutes – September 6, 2011

The Meeting of the Mchenry County Wireless Association was called to order by our president Ken KB9I at 7:31 pm.

The president Ken, kb9i began with introductions.
He then spoke about the upcoming hamfest.
I counted 32 present

this weekend the hamfest that use to be in graze lake, is being held
Saturday and Sunday September 10-11, at the boone County fare grounds
beginning each day at 6 am.
It is sponsored by the cfmc club
Marty reported the food is now being cadered for the event.

The following weekend is the Peoria super fest.

nominations were announced as vp Dave Cooper Wa9ozp, Secretary wa9yvl.
president Jim Mcdonald n7us
and Berry Nelson k9yvt for treasurer.
marc wa9yvl seconded the motion for the nominations.

Programs were set up for October and November.
Jack already has a program ready for our October meeting and Dave will
give his program in November.
The floor was opened to receive aditional nominations but nun came forth.
So, Marc wa9yvl moved that the current set of nominations brought
forth by Marty be accepted by acclamation.
the club approved the motion.

Wendell n9rep, announced the vhf contest.
from 1:00 Sat. afternoon to 10pm Sunday night.
the simplex frequencies are 52.5, 146.550 and 446.000. and 1296.1 for
those who really like to get high on the air.
