Quartz Crystals:
While in days gone-by, crystals had meant that you were 'rock bound'; stuck on one frequency, modern radios are all crystal controlled. Once dug out of the ground, modern quartz is now manufactured. Steve will review some history, show how stable crystals really are and have things too look at. Our thanks to Steve, K9DCI for this program.

April 5, 2011 - Long Path on 50 Mhz
Masayuki Inoue JN3NFQ (K1GI) will present a program he and his friend Yutaka Ninomiya, JG3IFX put together for MCWA about long path on 50 MHz. See the article in the January 2011 QST page 90 for more details. A few of their friends, other JA 6M hams, are contributing to the presentation. This should be a very interesting program. Do not miss this one.
(check Jan & Feb QST "The World Above 50MHz for more info)

March 1, 2011 - The March meeting program was presented by AA6DY on low power automated CW QSO's. This is very low power HF with very slow speeds and special encoding.
