Meeting minutes for November 6, 2007 - as recorded by Jerry, N9AVY

Jack Hudson, W9MU, called the meeting to order at 7:35 PM.

Jack gave a brief introduction and talked about the future of MCWA.

Roll was taken. There were 22 people present.

Marty gave the October minutes as he received them from Kevin, K9HS.
Jack, W9MU, gave the President's report and talked about the officer's meeting held the previous week.
This was followed by Treasurer's report by Dennis, N9TZL.
It was brought to everyone's attention that dues will be due in December and are now $20.

Jack, W9MU, gave a brief talk about Oliver Heaviside.

At 8:04 old business was discussed about insurance & incorporation.
This was followd by new business and a motion to modify the Constitution.
Motion seconded by W9NB.
Jack, W9MU, discussed a program for new/newer people in hobby and "Elmering" them.
Contacting old & former MCWA members was discussed.
Ken, KB9I, gave a report on the 145.41 repeater.
A report was given on VE testing.

Break. Raffle held.
