Regular Meeting minutes – August 3, 2010

The meeting began at 19:30 with KB9I the President presiding, also in attendance were KA9OZP V.P. and W9MLP Treasurer. A meeting attendance report showed 21members and 10 visitors in attendance. The required 15 members did established a quorum. KB9I started a self introduction and everyone in attendance gave their name, call, and QTH.
W9MLP made a motion to pay the Nunda Township for the next 6 months of meeting room rent for months Sept, Oct. Dec. Jan. Feb. and March. The motion was seconded by KB9I and carried. Due to elections the Nov. Meeting will be held at the Free Methodist Church in Woodstock. KA9OZP discussed the good DX and the upcoming CME. W9HOG discussed DX. N9REP discussed the Grant Township 5K Walk/Run
August 8 handled by WELCARS. 7:00 AM Setup. All operators should be there by 7:30AM. Race should start @ 8:00 AM. Bring an HT, that should be all you need. Pre-program them to 147.510 with a backup frequency of 147.525. INGLESIDE – Grant Township will host its 13th annual 5K walk/run and picnic Sunday, Aug. 8, at the Grant Township Center, 26725 W.
